Wave your magic steam wand

So I asked the parent community for its thoughts on the ironing. Here’s what came back and my response in italics;

Hang up the clothes straight out of dryer, do not squeeze them into a wardrobe. So straight out the dryer requires me to coordinate the dryer with my availability and my hangers’ availability. It’s an unlikely scenario, but a good contribution from a mum who, I’m guessing either only has one child or is super organised.

Buy a steam wand, several brands were recommended. This sounds fun. But the results included self-confessed short comings. Time, water, still some crumples.

I taught my daughter to iron and now she does it herself. OK. Impressive. One child? Maybe more than one but of different ages? Three children at the same time means consecutive ironing, not concurrent ironing unless I buy three irons with boards. And may a considerable amount of space somewhere in the house .

I send my kids into school in crumpled uniform. Too bad. This is the one for me. And yes, it came from a fellow triplet mum. And now I can go guilt-free about it.

I’ve started to put other problems to the hive mum-minds.
